I just read Organic Transit had a price increase, April 2016 . I had hoped it would be less costly as production increased. I guess not. They do have more options.

This new video says over 450 ELFs have been sold and triple that number are planned to sell this year alone. I think there will be one in every city by 2020. I have one in Phoenix and I've heard of one in Tucson. http://organictransit.com/cbs-evening-news-elf-video/
NO FOOLING, these are for real.

I just read these numbers on line. Great growth for Organic Transit
Cotter, who says he hopes to quadruple last year’s 300 units, is also pushing forward a pickup variety of the vehicle. Expect a Kickstarter campaign later this year, he says.

We just noticed the ELF electric motor is now shown as 600 watts instead of the original 750 watts. We can't find any notes on the OrganicTransit website or the two fackbook websites about the ELF. If we get any details we will let you know. The two facebook areas for the ELF are listed below.

I just read about these new options on the facebook post. New suspension coming soon and new batteries available now that are 16 AH instead of 10AH. PS you can get 48v 20 and 30 AH lithiunm batteries from other suppliers too. But these are from OT.
Below from post Dwayne Stutzman posted in Organic Transit ELF Owners Group
new options, one of which is a planned front suspension system. Rob said they could retrofit the suspension system on the current ELF’s, which is very interesting to me, as I currently ride a fully suspended tadpole trike, which is “very" smooth when compared to the ELF I test rode last August. That being said, the new “fat” tire option that I purchased also create a much smoother ride from that original ELF. But I will definitely be looking forward to adding the suspension when it is available.
Also, when I had talked with Brent late last week, he offered me a new option, a 16Ah hour battery, which they had just received that day from a new supplier in Germany. They are 40% more powerful and thus add 40% more mileage. OT has also sealed them in a water resistant carrying case, so that should alleviate the “wet battery” issue. Hope so! They are an extra @$200 per battery. As I had ordered an additional battery and the “fast” charger, I was able to get the 2 new batteries for an additional $350, as the $150 “fast” charger will not work with the new batteries. The batteries also came with 2 chargers, so can charge both at the same time.

I've heard that the high speed charger has begun shipping. 10 AMP , 5x faster?
(depending on your charger capacity – 2Ah and 10Ah are available).
I cancelled my Fast Charger because the chargers are not PFC, Power Factor Corrected to be more efficient and run cooler. I will stick with the little 2 amps (more like 1 1/2 amp) charger. Only USA made EL CON in California makes good PFC chargers.
Fast charging can also create heat in the battery and shorten the battery life!

Organic Transit began taking orders after a January, 2013 KickStarter program. Since that time, more than 200 vehicles have been sold through their website, www.organictransit.com
